8MM & Shameless/Limitless present RMC alumni miaw, an on-the-up production duo riding high on the back of their debut ep My Petswan. Tickets on sale now. -- The bio: miaw (DK/NL) is a cross-pop duo performing a uk-bass-inspired deconstructed club music blending into the field of shoegaze and ‘90s trip-hop. Consisting of Frederik Fog and Liza Dries from Denmark and the Netherlands, the two producers use fast breakbeats, arpeggiated synthesizers, and unorthodox sampling techniques to create a sound at the intersection of a remix and a pop song. Following their debut EP, ‘My Petswan’, their self-released single ‘moving in’ is already making waves, reaching the 100k+ streams in its first week, and being picked up by P6 Beat (DK), Nina Protocol (Staff Picks) (US), The Needle Drop (US), HighClouds Magazine (BE), TURTLENEK (DE), Mondosonoro (ES), 808 Radio (ES), Pamplona Actual (ES), and DCL Kultur (ES). The duo released their second single ’sad song’ on April 15 with an equally exhilarated reception. Their next longer release is coming up in fall ‘26. miaw have played festivals such as ESNS, MIL Lisbon, O Salgado Faz Anos, by: Larm, Spot, and Vegas Udvalgte, as well as toured across Europe and shared stage with Acopia, Ultra Caro, Lyra Valenza and Jack J.
