silent green presents Psychic Liberation (PL) is a label founded in 2013, originally run with Miguel Alvariño under the name Primitive Languages as a cassette and record store project in New York City. Since 2019, Nick Klein has operated it solo from the EU under the title Psychic Liberation. The concert series of the same name takes place with changing guests. Flora Yin-Wong Flora Yin-Wong is a sound artist from London who uses rudimentary field recordings, granular synthesis and traditional instruments, underpinned by influences from club culture. Through these disparate elements, her work channels her interest in philosophical and psychological themes such as faith, obsession, and ritual. In 2023 she launched a label and publishing house, Doyenne, releasing works from the likes of Claire Rousay, Alex Zhang Hungtai, Teresa Winter and Lisa Lerkenfeldt etc. She has been commissioned by and presented live at galleries like Palais de Tokyo Paris, MACRO Roma, Fondation Beyeler Basel, Triennale Milano, Somerset House, The V&A Museum and Cafe OTO London, ISSUE Project Room New York, and SHEDHAlle Zurich. Afraidofmessages Afraidofmessages (AOM) is a solo project of Sonja Aguilar, guitarist and vocalist of no wave, noise rock band BRAK. Through her solo work, she redefines classical instrumentation, using the guitar as her primary source. With experimental techniques and a variety of percussive tools, AOM draws out a range of abstract tones and textures from a single instrument, complemented by synthesizers that add depth and harmonize tonal extremes, moving between harshness and tenderness. A fusion of contrasting elements that challenges genre conventions and invites listeners into a space where softness and intensity coexist.
